Another substantial quake rattled Central California today at 3:54 PM. The magnitude-5.0 earthquake was centered about 150 miles southeast of Parkfield in Monterey County, where a magnitude-6.0 quake scared residents on Tuesday. The quake was felt as far north as Sacramento and as far south as Redlands, Guarino said. It also was felt in Las Vegas.
